Recently my family and I took over a Christion radio statio in our area. Some people have advised us to contact local business (many of which are in the oil and gasoline industries) in search of financial sponsership, considering the advantages they would be able to obtain concerning taxes (for donations) and such. We’re not sure how to exactly go about actually contacting them, any advice?

All I have is the motivation, drive & hope to do it. It has been two years & I’ve done research off and on, and have been discouraged.
One idea I was thinking of getting sponsors so the kids could receive bucks (coupons) for discounts at local businesses like a skating rink, bowling alley, etc. as incentive.
Any ideas, games, advice, whatever you can come up with would be great. Thanx

I registered a domain name a few months ago with a little known company. The problem is the company’s service is a piece of crap – half the time their name servers are down. So I want to transfer that domain name to godaddy. So how do I go about it? Do I need to notify the old registrar and get their permission or can I just pay godaddy for the transfer and have it take place?

Last year turnover: £20,000,000
Last year net profit: £5,000,000
Value of physical assets: £1,000,000
Firstly, what other factors might be factored into the valuation of the company?
Secondly, what would such a business be valued at (and what calculations would take place?)

I am in a position to see that a local business may be about to be evicted for non payment of rent and a failure to adhere to clauses in the lease.
The type of trade that this business has can be continued with another provider and so my question is, if a business is evicted on 1 working day then can a new company trade from the next working day without inheriting any of the debts and liabilities.
